Markham’s mix is the most heritage-sensitive in the GTA. Unionville and Markham Village carry restoration and discreet-addition projects on protected historic stock, where pre-existing-condition documentation is often a permit-adjacent requirement. The north (Cathedraltown, Cornell) is heavy new-build custom and luxury production work, with the same mechanical complexity we see in Vaughan but on smaller lots that require more careful trade-day scheduling.
